What if you could turn off the TV in a restaurant?

OMG -- Now you can!  I cannot tell you how many times I have been in restaurants or bars in country after country where the blaring TV is seen as a necessary addition to the ambiance.  URRGGGHHHH!!!

Luiz understands my aversion to this rediculous noise and always sits on the side of the table that faces the TV - so I can sit facing the other direction.

Check out this video that shows how to make it all go away.

Ohmygoodness, I want one. So so so dislike TV in restaurants/bars. Loud, and annoying, because too often the people you are with stare at the TV rather than make eye contact with you while you talk. Or maybe that only happens to me, but ugh.

Think we can find these here, Jim??

Looks like you can get one here for US$20 plus US$10 shipping.

They ship to Brazil.

Bliss! I love the clever incognito aspect of it.

too cool. course wouldn't look very good on a t-top blouse we wear here to dinner... don't know how many times we have not returned to a restaurant that has TV.... only Devassa because it is more a sports bar and is fun to watch all the young people go crazy over a soccer game. Bur Camillo is also a sweetie and gets us hidden in the guiet(er) corners.

Ginger, recently I saw a post about women's shoes with a handy little drawer in the (ubsurdly high) heel. Perhaps things could be modified.

Go for it Ray - you will be appreciated by those around you (unbeknownst).

Anita - I have a lot of time on my hands. LOL!

Fiona - indeed! ;-)

Actually, Gineger, now that I think about it, I think those shoes were for drag queens.
